MMCWA is a national non-governmental organization serving Myanmar community by improving the health and well being of mothers and children with the aim to improve the quality of life of the people .The strategy applied is social mobilization towards community participation to implement community based health care activities.Prioritized issues are SRHR, Nutrition, Healthy life style, Prevention and Control of communicable and non- communicable diseases. The targeted population is confined to mothers, newborn and under five children, also young people and elderly.SRHR is the field where MMCWA has never missed since 1990 with a right-based approach.
