In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Sports and American Rotaplast Plastic Surgery team, MMCWA participated in the program for the operation of oral and maxillofacial surgery for cleft lip and palate patients at 1000 bedded hospital, Nay Pyi Taw from 14th September to 23rd September, 2017.
The president of MMCWA, Prof: Dr. San San Myint Aung and Central Executive Committee member Daw Than Than Sein and group donated 2548000 kyats in total, including 30,000 kyats and one Calcium Oat Meal pack per head for 80 cleft lip and palate patients. The deputy medical superintendent, dental specialist Dr. Khin Maung and administrative persons of the hospital received the team. After that the president group proceeded to the patient ward, met the patients, encouraged them and gave supplement for nutrition.
