On 6 April 2025,  Ayeyarwady Region Maternal and Child Welfare Supervisory Committee , Patron Daw Kyi Kyi Htun, President and Members, District Maternal and Child Welfare Supervisory Committee President and Members, Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association President and Members, donated drinking water, rice and foods to earthquake-affected people, Ministry staff and staff families in Nay Pyi Taw. The Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association (Central) President, Professor Dr. San San Myint Aung, and Secretary Dr.Nwel Ni Ohn accompanied the donation.
Firstly, the President of MMCWA(Central), Patron of Ayeyarwady Region, and Members donated and spoke encouragingly to earthquake victims receiving treatment at the 1,000-bed General Hospital, Nay Pyi Taw.
Then, they donated drinking water, rice, and foods to the earthquake-affected people at the “Yan Aung Myin Shwe Lat Hla pagoda” Dhamma center and to the earthquake-affected staff and their families from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, and Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement.
